Alice Buckle is a wife, mother, drama teacher, and former playwright. After signing up for an online survey of middle aged married folks, she becomes Wife 22.Each participant is assigned a researcher to feed them questions periodically and to score the data. Because the study is completely anonymous, Alice opens up to Researcher 101 with intimate details of her marriage, her children's lives and her hopes and dreams.Even though I could see where this was going fairly early on, it was an entertaining read. Many of the interactions are done via Facebook and Twitter.I would recommend Wife 22 to fans of Helen Fielding, Jennifer Weiner or anyone looking for a good summer read.
