This is not deep literary analysis of young adult literature. It is an entertaining look at many of the books tweens and teens read before (ok, way before) vampires returned to pop culture.I admit that I skimmed through some of the essays about books that I didn't read the first time around, but I did find a few "new" titles that I would like to check out. I would also like to reread several books now, so beware of that. :) I've never thought of Laura Ingalls Wilder as "food porn" before, but it makes sense. :)
