When the Emperor Was Divine
A patron recommended this book to me. She said she couldn't put it down. I wouldn't go that far, but I did enjoy it. It is the story of a Japanese family living in California during WWII. The father is taken away first, and then the mother and children are sent to a separate internment camp. It is a fast read, and the last chapter especially makes you think.
